Cookie Policy

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. This page explains what Emirates Amazing uses, what is optional, and how to change your choice at any time.
Your choices
When you first visit, we ask you to choose. There are two optional categories. Both are off unless you turn them on, and each is chosen on its own:
- Analytics: Google Analytics 4.
- Marketing: Meta Pixel.
You can reject both, accept both or choose one. Closing or ignoring the notice does not count as agreeing. To change your mind, use Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. Your choice is kept for 180 days and then we ask again. We also ask again if we change what these services do.
What is always used
- Your cookie choice. We save your choice for each category, the date, when it expires and a policy version number in your browser's local storage (key ea_consent_v1). We use it only to remember what you decided. It is not used for tracking and it does not contain an identifier for you.
- Staff sign-in cookie. When a team member signs in to the admin area, a cookie keeps them signed in. Visitors who do not sign in do not receive it.
- Google Fonts. Text fonts are loaded from Google, so your browser contacts Google when a page loads. This is not one of the optional categories.
Analytics (optional): Google Analytics 4
Nothing from Google Analytics is loaded until you choose Analytics. If you do, the website loads the Google tag and records one page view for each eligible public page. Google sets first-party cookies named _ga and _ga_XFPCYS0ZKQ, which hold a pseudonymous browser identifier. Google decides how long they last, commonly up to about two years. Google receives the page address without any query or fragment, the page title, the site you came from and technical information such as browser, device and approximate location. Google may also record the automatic events first_visit, session_start and user_engagement. We keep Google signals and ad personalisation switched off and do not use Google advertising features.
Marketing (optional): Meta Pixel
Nothing from Meta is loaded until you choose Marketing. If you do, the website loads the Meta Pixel and records one page view for each eligible public page, so we can measure how our Facebook and Instagram advertising performs. Meta may set cookies such as _fbp (and _fbc when you arrive from a Meta advert), commonly lasting up to about 90 days, and receives the page address without any query or fragment, the website name of the page you came from, and technical information from your browser. We have set up our Meta account so that automatic events, advanced matching and detailed page information collection are off.
Where these services never run
Analytics and marketing are never started on the admin area, the contact page, the business forms, the AI Assistant, the AI Visibility Checker, search results, or any page address that contains a query string. We never pass what you type into a form or a search box to either service.
Withdrawing
If you turn a category off, the website stops that service straight away, deletes the cookies it can reach on this website, and does not send anything that was waiting. Withdrawing stops new information being sent. It does not delete information that Google or Meta already received, and we cannot remove cookies that those companies set on their own websites. Use your browser settings for those, and see their policies: Google privacy policy, Google partner sites, Meta privacy policy, Meta cookies policy.
Browser controls
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the staff sign-in cookie, staff cannot sign in. Instructions are in the help section of your browser.
