Global Village in Dubai is hosting five days of Diwali festivities from 6 to 10 November, with cultural performances and family activities. A Diwali Mela, organised with the India Pavilion, offers decorations, gifts and sweets.
A drone show with Diwali-themed formations is scheduled for 8 November at 8pm, the day on which the main festival falls. Entry to the park includes access to the Diwali experiences, so residents and visitors can enjoy the celebrations as part of a normal visit.
