Falaj Al Mualla Fort Museum
Explore traditional crafts, maritime heritage and everyday life at Falaj Al Mualla Fort Museum in Umm Al Quwain’s inland oasis town.
Falaj Al Mualla Fort Museum offers an introduction to the heritage of Umm Al Quwain away from the coastal city. Its displays explore traditional crafts and daily life, with a Sea Room covering fishing and pearl diving and an Al-Madbasa Room explaining the production of date molasses. Models of trading and diving boats sit alongside fishing nets and pearl-diving equipment. Other collections include sewing and barbering tools, silver jewellery and traditional clothing. The historic fort provides a setting for understanding how practical skills, trade and local traditions shaped the emirate. Confirm current visiting arrangements before making the inland journey.
