Ajman Museum offers a look at the emirate’s past inside a restored eighteenth-century fort in Al Bustan. Its displays cover manuscripts, weaponry, wooden dhow models, irrigation and the pearl trade, with information in Arabic and English. Archaeological finds from Al Muwaihat include pottery and funerary jewellery, adding another layer to the story of the area. The museum stands beside the Gold and Traditional Souqs, within walking distance of the Corniche.
