Check an Abu Dhabi bus journey with Darbi
Abu Dhabi’s official Darbi app combines journey planning and bus information, with a stop-level QR route for checking arrivals. An internet connection is needed. Archive photograph (2014): Ranged Enigma / Wikimedia Commons, cropped, CC BY-SA 4.0.
Before an unfamiliar bus journey in Abu Dhabi, try Darbi, the official transport-map app for residents and visitors. Its developer describes city journey planning and real-time bus information, while Abu Dhabi Mobility still lists it among the official ways to check timetables. There is also a useful option at the stop: Abu Dhabi Mobility directs passengers to scan the QR code and open Darbi to see the route and arrival information. Keep mobile data or Wi-Fi available. The app is not an offline journey planner, and many location-based functions also require GPS access. Image: Archive photograph of an Abu Dhabi route 56 bus, September 2014.
